Finlayson Elämän Jälki Oven Mitt
Print: Johanna Rautiainen
Description: Between lush flowers, there are many traces of life. The round stains left by glassware are traces of happy moments that will live on in our memories. Designed by Johanna Rautiainen, the Traces of Life pattern boldly celebrates imperfection, also in kitchen textiles.
The Traces of Life oven mitt features comfortable and pliable wadding that protects you against high temperatures, allowing you to pick up hot cookware without any problems. The product’s CE marking indicates that it has been tested for adequate protection against contact heat. The oven mitt has a loop on its side.
The oven mitt is made of 100% rib weave cotton, which is firm and rather thick. 50% of the cotton is recycled. We are always looking for substitutes for cotton and ways to increase the amount of recycled materials we use.
Update the look of your kitchen by ordering other Traces of Life textiles to complement the oven mitt.
The story of the Traces of Life pattern: Everyone knows the sinking feeling of seeing a stain on a tablecloth left by a coffee cup. Stains and various marks left on textiles feel like defects that should be washed away. Looking at them from another perspective, they are traces of life. They remind us of the times we have had and keep our memories alive. Why not see them as important and as part of the pattern?
Care: Machine wash hot, hang-dry.
Dimensions: 1-3/4" L x 6" W or 30 x 15 cm
