Globe Hope Sumu Backpack

Material: This backpack is made from surplus materials. The top is made of surplus cotton and the inside of the backpack has a water and dirt repellent technical surplus fabric. New parts include cotton straps, zipper, and other metal parts.

Description: SUMU backpack is a ecological backpack for everyday use made of surplus cotton. It is well suited as a school backpack, work backpack or even a friend for a forest trip. The timeless black backpack has a spacious zippered front pocket, a dirt-repellent lining, a zippered pocket and a separate laptop pocket. The backpack's shoulder straps are padded and adjustable.

Dimensions: 11" x 15.3" x 4.3" Outside the pocket, to the main section of the backpack fits most of the 15" laptops.

Globe Hope was launched in 2003 by Seija Lukkala, the pioneer in circular economy in Finland. Ever since, they have created every product out of existing raw materials; leftovers, waste, recycled, upcycled - you name it.

Core idea is based on their respect for the planet and its precious resources. They have a strong belief that it is for us to design a way out of the mess we have created. They are here to create a better option. An alternative that requires no new raw materials.
