Lapuan Kankurit Veranta Tea Towel

Description: The VERANTA pattern originated from the idea of an old house’s veranda and grandma’s home. Aged ceramic vases filled with hand-picked flowers, doilies and double cloths. I found inspiration in the graphic style of the 40’s and 50’s, with some ethnic influences in the mix.

VERANTA was conceived with liquid paint markers on paper. The key visual starting point was to marry together different surfaces and patterns to make a flowing, harmonious composition.
